Where do I enter my discount code?

If you have received a discount code for one of our books and are not sure what to do with it, the steps below will guide you through the process.

1.  Begin by adding the book, the promo code is related to, to your cart.
2. If you are ready to checkout, select the checkout button. If you want to continue shopping, select the "continue shopping" link. You can access your shopping cart from the button on the top right hand of the webpage, when you are ready to checkout. The image below shows what your shopping cart link looks like.
   
3. When you are ready to checkout, select the checkout button. On the next screen is where you will enter your details to let us know where to send the book and enter the discount promo code you received to receive your price reduction.

1. On the left-hand side of the screen, enter your email address. We need that to send the book to you, along with your billing address.
2. On the right-hand side of the screen, you will see the price of your order. To get your discount, enter your promo code in the box that reads, "Discount Code" and select Apply.

4. The price of your order should now be reduced.

5. Select the continue to payment button down below to proceed. 

Where is my ebook?

1. We deliver ebooks to the email address that you provided at the checkout. The first place to check is your junk/spam box in the event your mail program believed it to be something different. 
2. If you checked out with PayPal, it's possible that we delivered the book to the email address associated with your PayPal account.
3. If you still can't find it, reach out to me at ablakely@kinclondpublishing.com and we can help you get the link you require.

Ebook Delivery Process

1. When you purchase one or more of our ebooks, an email will be sent to the email address that you provided with the subject: Here's "Book Title" by Alex Blakely.
2. We use BookFunnel to deliver our ebooks to our customers. BookFunnel can provide support to you in the event you have a problem loading the book on your ereader.
3. Click on the link in the email and it will take you to a landing page for download. Note the landing page expires after 14 days.
4. Click on the "Get My Book" button.
5. It will then present you with a list of e-readers to download your book to.

You can also locate your ebooks in the BookFunnel library at https://My.BookFunnel.com. Log into BookFunnel with the email you used to purchase your books.

Is there other ways I can read my book?

The book delivery service that we use has developed their own reading app, which can be downloaded to your device. Once downloaded, you can enter the BookFunnel Download Code from the screenshot above and the book will be available to you.

Why Purchase the Books from the Author Direct When I can get it from a Big Retailer?

I think this will be a question that will come to a lot of readers' minds. After all, you've become used to purchasing your books from the big online retailers. The big retailers take a significant portion of the sale price you pay and it can be months before the author see's any payment.

By purchasing from the author direct, you are cutting out the middleman. We receive the money sooner and can then use that to create more books, so that you, the reader, have more opportunities to spend time with our characters.

It also allows us to develop a relationship with you, the reader. That is why I encourage everyone to opt into our marketing when you checkout. We don't send a lot of emails but can keep you alerted to special sales and new releases that will come here at great prices before we put them out to the big box retailers.

Refund Policy

We have a 30 day refund policy for paperbacks. Since Ebooks are an instant download, there is no way to return the ebook and therefore we cannot offer a refund on our digital products. Paperbacks must be returned to us. For more information about our return policy, please click here.
